I can help with a bit of this. My daughter was very lethargic,

wouldn't eat and vomitted during the first two weeks of the diet. It

was a bit rough, but worth it. She just snapped out of it one day.

Welcome to the list Kellie,

Here is a link for kids doing the intro diet:

Die-off reactions (detox) can include lethargy, crankiness, some bloating,

flu-like symptoms, some experience vomiting, lack of appetite etc. This

might help http://www.pecanbread.com/badreaction.html

There is a little more to it than just waiting on yogurt introduction. The

general rule of thumb is to wait at least three weeks before gradually

starting yoghurt. This is done so initial bad reactions die-off etc. won't

be confused with starting the yoghurt 'reactions " . Some people decide to

start yogurt sooner and some choose to introduce dairy later. That's a

decision for the parents.

I'm wondering because my 3 year old

Sounds like it.

It is a gradual introduction of new foods. If she has no d, constipation,

bloating you can slowly try add a new food. The usual rule of thumb is one

new foods every 5 -7 days. If her bowels are pretty good you can probably

go with the lower number. You add new foods slowly so you can determine if

she has either an immediate reaction, delayed reaction or a reaction to

larger amounts.

>Thank you so much for everyones help. I did read the book but

trying to read with my triplets crawling on me was not easy and I

think I missed some stuff. I felt that I had to start the diet the

day I got the book because it makes so much sence. I will keep you

posted.
