Guest guest
Kathy, Please read the information on pecanbread.com. http://www.pecanbread.com There is tons of info on how to do the SCD dairy free and how to transition a child to the diet. There are over 100 dairy free recipes on pecanbread.com and some nut versions of milk, yogurt and DCCC. I think you will find the answers to many of your questions there. Guest guest
Hi , Yes, it sounds as if it could be more die-off. Cutting back and gradually building up might be a good idea. Take it slow. That's my motto. Sheila, SCD 36 mos UC 20 yrs mom of SCD 21 mos Also, for those using custom probiotics for supplementation of good bacteria, how are your kiddo's tolerating it?? I am experimenting with it. I started my son on it last weekend and he just seemed lethargic and spacey. Real constipated. I thought maybe he wasn't tolerating this one. Well yesterday after school he gave birth to the biggest BM I have seen!! He even had some blood mixed in from the trauma to the rectal tissue I'm sure. After passing this he said he had to go poop an hour later but just passed some gas and mucus. He did this one more time before bed. Also, after " poo poo ing " he perked up a lot and had a great night. So, maybe this is a little more die off?? I am going to continue the probiotic but back off just a tiny bit. What do ya'll think??
