Guest guest
I have been working up to putting my 32 month old daughter on SCD by taking away some illegal foods one at a time and introducing some of the foods she will be eating on the new diet. I want to officially start the intro portion of the diet next week and have a few questions. Are spices legal in intro? I have the list of legal foods during intro but am a little confused. When chicken meatballs is mentioned, is that made literally of only chicken? I just don't want to mess things up. She has been GFCF for 5-6 months. , mom to Hannah (ASD) and Ben (neurotypical), 32 months
Guest guest
Chicken meatballs would be ground chicken and egg mixed together and then baked. As for spices, I just cooked the food with garlic slices in it to flavor it (but did not give them the garlic to eat) and I put salt in it. Guest guest
I know I asked Elaine before we started the diet if salt and pepper are OK on the intro and she said yes. I don't know about any other spices. > I have been working up to putting my 32 month old daughter on SCD by > taking away some illegal foods one at a time and introducing some of > the foods she will be eating on the new diet.
