Guest guest
No not one test was done ( not that they would have found any thing, I did have pneumonia after the first op and a collapsed lung after the second op, maybe they should have done a lung xray before the op , before ANY op, who knows ????? ) Kay Ben-M'Rad wrote: Dear ,I was banded at the end of July last year and had an infected port site which hadn't healed after six months. An oozing gaping wound - pretty horrible. The only solution was to have the port removed, let everything heal and put in a new port. I had a heap of fills pretty quickly before the port was taken out (I hadn't had my first fill until about 4 months post-op due to the infection). Until I get a new port put in I can't have a fill, and even though I've got about 3.2 (or 3.4mls) in I am not restricted enough. I had the port removed at the end of January but have been away so much that I haven't schedule a hospital visit to have a new one inserted, must do it soon.I had masses of tests for the band, The Avenue here in Melbourne is very thorough with testing prior to being banded. Didn't you have any tests?KAY
Guest guest
I suppose you could do it with a variable adjustable clasp - If you will, AJW. Guest guest
I work in a SNF and a question was brought up. If we receive orders from the MD to provide family training to prepare for DC home with familiy as caregivers, an eval must be completed first to establish baseline, plan of care, etc. Is this correct? Other therapist felt that able to do family training without eval due to the MD order. Thanks for feedback! R Pullan, DPT
