Guest guest
But Peggy--at least you finally got some answers! Yes, I know you are disappointed to know this great doc won't be available to her. What I'd do--ask HER for a referral. Tell her you don't think you could 'work' with the other (bastard, sorry!) one, and see who she might have in mind for you to see. Perhaps she could even be so kind as to call another doc she recommends and give him/her a 'heads up' about you; her findings, etc.... I think you will be pleasantly surprised with a switch from Avonex to Copaxone. I had been on Copaxone, but have heard all sorts of ill effects from Avonex. Besides the Copaxone not really slowing down progression for me--it was a wonderful med; many people have been tremendously helped by Copaxone. I will be starting Tysabri this Monday...Keep the faith. Continue posting...and YES--we ARE a chatty bunch, and I think we all are pretty proud of that fact! ) !!! blessings, kate> My gosh you all are a chatty bunch, LOL!!!!
