Re: software for out-patient practice I did allot of research with Web-based and Server based systems. I did not find any advantage to the Web-based system. All I heard was that with Web Based you can access the software from any where. Well so what, you can access the Software from any where with the right hardware configuration any way. On my Server Based system, I check my appointments from home and run reports from any where I have internet. More importantly you control your data with a Server based system. I did not like the fact that at the end of the day my data was stored some where else. I back up my software in just a few minuets before I leave at night, and there for I know that if I come in the next morning and have any issues I can just plug in that buck up and I'm up and running regardless if the internet is down or not. We use PT Advantage Software, it manages the whole practice and the support is great. www.AdvantageSoftware.com Jim Briggs <mailto:PTINLA1%40yahoo.com> PTINLA1@... redgoan < <mailto:rehabdynamix%40bellsouth.net> rehabdynamix@...> wrote: dear group, i have read the numerous posts about the softwares available for out-pt clinics. can you please give me feedback on the following: is it better to purchase a software package (like turbo pt), or subscribe to web-based platforms (raintree, clinicient)? which is more cost-efficient between the two? i thank you all in advance for the feedback/s. red goan rehabdynamix oakland, tn __________________________________________________ Quote
