Guest guest Posted January 26, 2006 Report Posted January 26, 2006 Nan, I thought you called carbs crabs on purpose. I always smiled assuming you were like me, crabby about not being allowed to eat many of them. Guest guest Posted January 26, 2006 Report Posted January 26, 2006 Hi Lizzie, No that was a error on my part about the crabs. I do not like crabs but I do like carbs. so you are right I am crabby when I don't get my caarbs. I wonder if crabs are crabby. Ha Ha Nan by the way I just checked the spell check and when I type crabs the spell checker wants to change carbs to crabs. The spell checker must like carbs better than carbs. Ha ha ha Good evening > >>>>>>>> > >>>>>>>> > >>>>>>>>> Hi Everyone: > >>>>>>>>> > >>>>>>>>> I just wanted to pop in and say hello to you all. Guest guest Posted January 26, 2006 Report Posted January 26, 2006 Dear , So funny, you! I had to educate my spell checker about carbs and crabs, but jaws remains adamant. He prefers crabs, shells or bones or whatever and all. Guest guest Posted January 27, 2006 Report Posted January 27, 2006 Nan, there is a cooking show Tuesday night run by Cy, stand up and clap, guys; and saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 my husband Darryl and I have a show on diabetes, not cooking, not so far. Now, feel free to come to the saturday morning and of course Cy's cookiing show. I'm sure we can discuss recipes for diabetics sometimes, along with all of the other topics there are to cover. So come on in, and again the address is www.cjoyinternetradio.com . Vicki " For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. I love other fish like trout and walleye, salmon, tuna of any kind, etc. Becky and Cassidy, Pilot Dog, Poodle maddpoodle27@... Guest guest Posted January 27, 2006 Report Posted January 27, 2006 Now, Lissi, I like mushrooms in small doses, some varieties better than others. LOL! I like Zucchini, but not in bread because it tastes too much like Pumpkin Bread and we aren't going to go there. LOL! I shall withhold my opinion on Spaghetti Squash until I have tried the stuff, but do agree that the real spaghetti is quite tasty. Eggs are awesome for sure and tomatoes rock! I love green olives and most peppers. I'm not wild about the hot peppers at all. Becky and Cassidy, Pilot Dog, Poodle maddpoodle27@... Guest guest Posted January 29, 2006 Report Posted January 29, 2006 Harry, I have a food exchange list which is from the ADA. It lists a food and tells you how many carbs there are in a specific amount. I use this list to base my serving size so I can make certain not to excede the correct carb number. Example: For oatmeal, I use 1/3 cup of oatmeal, not the 1/2 cup they list. This way the carbs come out as they should. Is this the list you are referring to? Quote
Guest guest Posted January 29, 2006 Report Posted January 29, 2006 I would like very much to have a copy of this food exchange list. I would appreciate your sending it to me. I will remain a carb counter, since I find it easier to dose insulin accordingly. Re: Good evening > Harry, I have a food exchange list which is from the ADA.
