The breathing exercises will help you, too. How about visualization - trying to imagine a place where you are safe and warm and free of pain is very helpful. Or go get a funny book and read it! Try a Far Side book if nothing else. I'm not kidding; laughing can really reduce my pain. Perhaps going of all of your medication at once was what triggered the pain so bad. Have you talked with your doctor about a tapering-off technique you might use, in order to wean yourself off the meds? When you get home tonight, light a candle and sit and watch it burn. It will help clear your mind and slow your breathing down. Remind yourself of all the positive steps you have taken to get well, and try to have faith that you will get well, and you will get pregnant! If nothing else helps, ye olde ice packs on the crotch may give you a measure of relief. Please let us know how you are doing. We're all here to help and listen.
