Guest guest
Hi everyone, Well, as you can see, I've gone from help to hopeful. That is not to say I am anywhere close to a road to recovery, but I have to admit that I do get some 'good days' and when I do I make the most of them. I think I actually smiled at the receptionist today at my doctor's office when she called me in to see the doctor. I was early for my appointment and I was glad to know that I was going to make it out on time to pick up my kids from school!! He gave me a Rx. for Elavil 10 mg. and I will be starting my first dose tonight, with no results at least for 2 weeks. At this rate, I'd be happy to wait 2 months, as long as my pain diminishes somewhat. However, I'm still hopeful. The kids at school help out a lot too. They make me smile and laugh and I sometimes forget the pain I'm in. We're doing a lot of Christmas activities and they're all so excited and happy, and I only wish I can share in some of their excitement. I keep having to remind myself that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and one day it will appear. I'm so happy to have made wonderful friends in this group, and I cannot believe how supportive everyone is. I feel truly blessed to have you all in my life right now. I will pray for you all, God bless. Rose
