My spirits are up and I got a goodnight sleep of course those pain pills do help to knock me out. I haven't had to use any today so the pain is getting better. Betty and I have contacted the police so it is on record so if he comes two feet near me his but is in jail. Sorry if I sound so negative! I knew that one day he would be a free and either call me or do something to me. I am not afraid I am going to have my phone unlisted with caller ID and Georgia that is a terrific Idea I think I will see if the police can do anything. Thanks for your prayers. I am off to bed to rest some more. Betty is letting me go to church tomorrow but I am to just sit and let others do for me. Also, tomorrow our church is having a recognition dinner for Betty and her husband and Myself for Ministers recognition month I thought that was nice. I hope all is well with each of you. Guest guest Posted March 5, 2004 Report Share Posted March 5, 2004 A couple of months ago I asked prayer for a lady her name is Grace she is a member of my church. Grace has leukemia they did chemo but it is to fast growing that it was best to send her home to finish out her time. She is 72 years old and she went home this past Monday. This morning we got a call saying that she is not responding at all. So, it is in matter of time when she will be going home to Heaven to meet her maker and be in no more pain. I ask that you would pray for her family. I also ask that you pray for myself and the Grindle's as we minister to her family during this time. As many of you know we are minister with the Salvation Army and she has been a faithful member for 25 plus years. This has been specially hard on me because I haven't been able to go see her and I feel terrible about that but she told Betty the other day tell Captain (that's me) that I am thinking about her and praying for her I just happen to send her a little something and told Betty to tell her I am thinking about her and praying for her. I still feel terrible, Grace doesn't want me to feel bad she wants me to fight this cancer and win. I feel bad that she can't fight hers I will keep you all inform when she does pass away.
