He said that there are 4 reactions to allergens: 1) Shock (drastic reaction) 2) Allergic symptoms (nasal stuffiness, hives, asthma, watery eyes etc) 3) Addiction (to the allergen) 4) Blocking (your body sees the allergen as a foriegn object and attacks it or sends it out of the body unused if it is a vitamin etc) Fibro is #4. Your body is fighting the allergen so your immune system is weak from overuse. Your body then starts to shut down and fatigue sets in. I just want to say again---this is his opinion. I don't want to give out medical advice that is based on opinion of my chiro. BUT--if it helps anyone or anyone wants to check into that more, I thought it would be good to share that info. Guest guest
That really is interesting...I really think I was addicted to the foods I am allergic to. I would *crave* bread, cakes and corn chips so much. I would eat some then 20 minutes later would want more. Once I knew about how you can get addicted to allergens like that it made so much sense that I was allergic to corn, wheat and yeast. in SF > Yes-- He said that fibro is the end of the line allergy wise.
