Guest guest
Sorry Kerri, didn't mean for you to take it that way! I wasn't annoyed, email is just such a difficult medium without seeing people face to face! I was only saying that I don't, and why I don't, being honest with everyone. Sorry if it came across differently, it really wasn't intended as a rant, just a statement. But re-reading I can see that it may look differently, so apologies to anyone who was upset or offended by my contribution. And now I will shut up! - Caroline in the UK Re: Exercise Uh, I wasn't judging anyone! Someone was taking a poll on what kinds of exercise people do and I responded. I don't care whether you exercise or not. Just because I enjoy doing triathlons doesn't mean I think everyone should do them. Honestly!Kerri> Exercise, hmmm, well I will just have to come out of the closet on this one. I don't. Not at all. I just don't have the time or the energy. I come home from a busy job, cook everyone's dinners, clear up, drive teenagers around, bring them back, go to homegroup, and veg out in front of the TV doing cross stich, spending time with my husband. Weekends I drive teenagers around, do shopping, go to supermarket and put it all away again, cleaning, ironing etc. go to church twice on Sundays. Where the heck is time for exercise! And no, don't answer that, because I know its not good for me, but I just won't feel guilty about what I can't help. When my teenagers fly the nest, maybe then. Just thought I would confess so that if there is anyone else like me they can confess too. I still lose weight, but slowly, and that's my penalty. But I still lose weight all the same. - Caroline in the UKReminder: The South Beach Diet is not low-carb. Nor is it low-fat. Guest guest
Ok good! I just didn't want everyone to think I was being snotty about being an exercise freak! Guest guest
>I was > only saying that I don't, and why I don't, being honest with everyone. I'm in the same boat as you are in regards to exercise. Most days I'm wiped by the end of the day and just want to tumble into bed to sleep. The exercise I get consists mostly of walking the length of the house several times per load of laundry, or pulling weeds in the garden. Hardly strenuous! But thanks to this way of eating I've lost over 10 pounds, even with my patheic excuses for exercise. -- Ann You spend your life fighting dirt, and when you die they bury you in it. hayakawa@...
