If you want lots of veggies, go for it. They provide the good carbs

and lots of nutrients, just like the book says.

You may have as many servings/cups of veggies that you would like, but you

need to have at least 5 cups of veggies per day.

Hi! Welcome to the group!

You can eat as much of the vegetables from the Foods to Enjoy list as you

like. Most folks tend to not eat enough veggies before starting the South

Beach way of eating, so they are suprised at how many vegetables they can

eat and that they are expected to eat 5 sevings a day.

Thanks Ann. The reason I asked is because in one of the South Beach

Diet books there is a great receipe for grilled vegetables, and the

receipe is 19 carbs!
