Hi all, Sorry it has taken me till today to post about my HSG - but

all I can say to start is that if dr's think that is like a period

pain - I think not!!!!

It was quite an horrendous experience I think, incredibly painfull.

The dr had a problem getting the catheter in and had to try about 3

times - I nearly went through the roof! I did take some ibuprofen

before hand, but it really didnt help. But, the pain was shortlived

and my results are positive (which made the pain worthwhile!). My rt

tube is completely blocked up (where I had the ep) and the left is

totally totally clear. The dr is very happy with the results ( & so

am

I !). Went home and had the most incredible cramping and felt awful

for the rest of the day. Decided to stay home from work on the Friday

as well as I felt so bad. But by Fri night I was feeling totally

fine

again. I too had a bit of browny colour bleeding - but Im sure thats

just where they have scraped you a bit I think and nothing to worry

about. So - thats the results girls. Thanks for all your good

thoughts

beforehand, it really did help to know I had so many of you all over

thinking of me! So now - we are leaving things to nature for now.

We

are hoping to ttc in about August/ September as if I leave it till

then it means I get an extra 3 months off at 90% of my salary when I

go on maternity leave. But if it happens before then - so be it!

(Secretly hoping it does!!!!).
