Guest guest
> know what brand you buy and at which store (in case there is one ===================== Trader Joe's has an excellent WW tortilla but here's a recipe that is incredibly easy to make so that you don't have to rely on them being available in your grocer's: Whole Wheat Flour Tortillas 1 cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour 3/4 tsp Baking Powder 1/3 cup Water 1/4 tsp Sea Salt 1-1/2 Tb Canola Oil or Vegetable Oil Mix all ingredients together in a 2 quart bowl and knead about 5 minutes, until elastic. Add more water, 1 tablespoon at a time, if necessary. Let rest for 15 minutes. Place dough onto a floured work surface; cut into 5 equal portions. With a floured rolling pin roll each portion into a round disk until very thin. Place round tortillas in a hot, ungreased, nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; brown on both sides. These can be used immediately or cooled and frozen. Keeps in refrigerator 2-3 days. Yield: 5 tortillas
