Guest guest
Im a 55 year old guy in Warren, Ohio. I have started this diet 3 or 4 times. I never make it thru the first 2 weeks. I started again yesterday. Then it dawned on me that I had a party on saturday and a golf outting on sunday. If I have setback on saturday and sunday, do I start phase 1 all over or do I just extend it 2 more days??? Joe
Guest guest
You can go on outings and to parties while still on Phases 1. You will just need to make good choices when you are out. I have a friend who has been dying to try SB but always has something to do each week. If you wait for the perfect week to start, it will not come. -Beth > > If I have setback on saturday and sunday, do I start phase 1 all over > or do I just extend it 2 more days??? > > Joe > >
Guest guest
I totally understand. Last week on day 2 we were invited to a friends house for dinner. I've tried so many " diets " that I just don't want to tell any of my friends what I'm doing, so I didn't tell her and it was not an SBD friendly meal. So I botched. But i just went right back at it the next day. I also gave into a craving on Fri. But only flubbed mildly, nothing like when I normally " cheat " . I also have a dinner tonight that I have no control of and one on Thursday too. I'm just gettin past them all P1ing in between and will do a full uninterrupted 2 weeks of P1 starting on Friday. I figure, I'm at least gettin accustom to changing my eating patterns rather than to keep pushing it off (like I've been doing over the past month). Just give it a start and try to choose what is best, but if you flub, don't get discouraged wake up and down that V8 and have some protein!! :-) Shirley Independent Director w/ The Pampered Chef
