Guest guest
plus the lingering taste of the flaxseed has been awful for me. What does the flaxseed taste like? It's on sale this week at a local store, and I was going to buy some, but I guess I better find out what I'm getting myself into! Guest guest
If milk and dairy does you in, don't eat them. Eat what is on the list of Foods to Enjoy that you *can* eat. You may need to use your imagination to find foods that you like. Breakfast doesn't have to be eggs, ricotta cereal, or pancakes. We enjoy leftovers from dinner, chili, spaghetti (pre-SBD!), cold pizza, and soup. -- Ann You spend your life fighting dirt, and when you die they bury you in it. hayakawa@... Guest guest
Is it the ricotta and milk that made you sick or the flaxseed? Eliminate one and see if you feel better. Either way, there are no specific foods with this WOE that you HAVE to eat. If you don't like it, don't eat it. Just try something else from the list. What phase are you in? Guest guest
I'm on day 14 of Phase I.........still only down 6 pounds (per morning weight), and showing only down 4 pounds when I weigh at night. I never cheated even once! As far as the flaxseed, it has a nutty taste that isn't bad at all...........actully tastes very starchy. The only reason the lingering taste of it was making me sick all day yesterday (or just the THOUGHT of it) was because the ricotta/milk/flaxseed combination had made me feel so sick. The flaxseed was the only thing with TASTE in it. So now, there is an association of the taste with feeling sick.........you know how that goes. I will wait a few days before trying flaxseed again to see if that memory subsides. Or I might just go back to the flaxseed oil that I was using before. I didn't mind that at all...........
