Guest guest
---Sandy there are many who do subscribe to SB Online but I am not one of them. I found between owning the cookbook, the actual diet book and the little 'Good Fats Bad Fats 'booklet it was enough for me. Not to mention there are many helpful people here who are very well versed in this way of eating. As well, many links to various helpful sites. Unless you want to spend the $5.00 per week or whatever, I don't think you will need to. Just my opinion of course! Guest guest
I joined the site right after I started SBD, along with this Group. I found it helpful, with recipes and meal plans and they have lots of information about food, etc., and a chat room and answers to questions by the nutritionist and Dr. A. I think you have to join for 12 weeks minimum. I felt I needed it because I’d just come off Atkins and had also been on Weight Watchers, and had a hard time getting the SBD “do’s and don’t” figured out. The site is where you can get the Meal Plans and lists of foods and print them out to carry with you, if you need to. Darlene question about S.B. Diet online site I was wondering if many of you are members of the official South Beach Diet website, and if so, do you find it helpful? I have been hesitant to spend the money, but if you feel it is a huge help I may consider it. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Hugs, Sandy Reminder: The South Beach Diet is not low-carb. Nor is it low-fat. The South Beach Diet teaches you to rely on the right carbs and the right fats-the good ones-and enables you to live quite happily without the bad carbs and bad fats. Guest guest
-No question its a helpful site. I just question why they need to charge us a fee when we've spent all that money on the books etc and to be honest, this WOE is not cheap!! I wish Dr. A had been a little more clear in some areas of his book(especially since its been revised a number of times since the first one came out)But it is a matter of personal choice whether one wants to spend that $5.00 per week.I do believe its nice to have the option.... -- In South-Beach-Diet-Getting-It-Right , " dpauls " <dpauls@s...> wrote: > I joined the site right after I started SBD, along with this Group. Guest guest
I just received an email today (I subscribe to the daily dish) and they are offering the site for $4 a week. I don't know if you have to subscribe via the link in the email but thought I'd check it out when I got home from work tonight. Not sure if everyone received this offer or if it was just sent out randomly. I've subscribed to the free daily email now for about 2 months and it's the first time I've seen the paid website offer at a discounted rate. > > I joined the site right after I started SBD, along with this > Group.
