I thought leg cramp were a sign of a lack of something in the diet. I get foot cramps when I don't drink enough water. Here is a link below, maybe that will help you out.

Im on my 3rd day with no problems, except I noticed I have a lot of leg cramping. I know this was discussed before, but I was just lurking and don't remember what to do.

Can someone help?

Have a bit of quinine water every day. It's found in tonic, as in gin and

tonic. It's inexpensive, too.

Morton's salt substitute has potassium which may help with muscle cramping. Also bananas and oranges.

Thank you all who responded. I don't drink any diet sodas, I do drink alot of decaf ice tea. I also have my 2 qts. of water a day. I looked in my cabinets and I do have diet tonic water, so I had a glass of that tonight. I will try to drink more water and see if that helps, if not, I will start taking potassium pill. That is the worst when you wake up in the middle of the night with a leg cramp - ouch!!!
