I forgot to mention I take GNC Women Supplements twice daily so I get

my recommended 500 grams of Calcium daily. However, I have noticed

that potassium is not incorporated in the supplement. I also use

stool softener (OTC) to try to maintain some regularity.

Right off the top the red flags I see are: ice cream, honey mustard

sauce, carrots (not until ph 2). I wouldn't call 2 days a stall,

some people stall for months. You've lost 5 lbs in 4 days, thats

great! There is a ton of info on the net, just do a goole search for

south beach diet, it will hold you over until your book gets there.

I think you need more veggies as well, not sure what your salads are

made with.

Take care,

Calcium: RDA for most adults - 1,000 milligrams daily; for teen-

agers - 1,300 milligrams; for those over age 50 - 1,200 milligrams.

Highest food sources are dairy and calcium-fortified orange juice.

Are you rec. to take less calcium?

You're right. I meant I meet 500 mg supplements that is recommended

by South Beach. However, I know that I pick up the other 500 mg in

my food.

Thanks for pointing out that misquote.
