Guest guest
I know this may sound nuts but bathe with Dawn dishwashing soap, Original. My aunt had yeast infections all the time and her doctor told her to use dawn, she didn't have anymore. I have no clue what is in dawn but it worked for my aunt. Just a suggestion. Guest guest
I have a question to ask and I want to know what you think. My daughter says my life is an adventure; that every day something happens to me that is an adventure. Now my opinion is that it is better to have an adventure every day and enjoy life instead of just plodding along and having no adventures. Point in question... Today I was taking the dog for his usual 1 mile walk around the neighborhood. We live in a somewhat rural area (not farms but a good many trees on large lots) so I am not walking down a city street. Today, the big chocolate lab that greets us every day came bounding over to meet us and got his usual pat on the head. Then he followed us as we walked down his road and around the curve. There was my first adventure....the house directly in front of me usually has a Jack Russel Terrier running around in the yard and a gray Snauzer tied in the yard. Today when the J. Russel came running to greet us, so did the Snauzer. This dog was not friendly and started to try to attack/bite me and/or Fritz. The chocolate lab got between us and growled until the Snauzer ran away. He got another nice pat on the head for his help. Then we continued our walk, Fritz, myself and the lab. The lab ran into the edge of the woods and spooked a deer (guess it was a deer...that is the sound it made running away) and scared me until I realized what it must be. That was my second adventure. Then as we turned to go back down the road toward home, I heard a voice that yelled, "Help me, help me, please help me." Now this is the beginning of the third and last adventure. But what does a 65 year old woman do when she is walking on a road and hears that yell??? I considered running to the nearest house and calling for help but realized no one was home. Then the voice yelled the same thing again and right behind the yell was the familiar squawk of the parrot that lives in the house just down the road! I would have been embarrassed if I had called 911! But as I walked on towards my home, I realized that things like this just make life interesting. What do you think? Is my life an adventure and should I continue to have an adventurous life or should I try to avoid these little happenings?

Guest guest
Guys, Went N/C with nada about 4 years ago due to there was no reason for me to stay in that extremely verbal abusive relationship any longer as my dad had died so I decided I'd make the rest of my life better without her. Especially after I couldn't get through to her doctors that she was screwed up and got tired of her guilt trips. Anyhow over the years initially she sent me shit and I sent them back type of thing, I have caller id so if she ever found my number I would know not to pick it up, neither DH or I pick up unknown/private callers, let them leave their message on the machine. Then she started harrassing my aunt (my aunt finally got caller id and blocked her away). She's also tried the bribery with my stuff, using my aunt and boss to come up with that one. (to all these things I either ignore or say no thanks) She's tried to bring the pets in to where I work (always around a holiday she felt was super special) and I've steered clear of her. Tonight she showed up at a concert and approached me in passing. Said 'I love you' I know her love comes with a price and she loves what she has dreamt me up to be not who I truly am. I just looked away from her and walked off. She's basically got nobody feeding info to her so she's had to go hunting on her own. I think she's having an imagined relationship with me. Do you all think that was the best response or should I have reinforced the boundary (in case this happens again) Thanks Prof Laf
Guest guest
Personally, I think it is best not to engage a stalker, you did reinforce the boundary by walking off without comment. Are interested in a relationship with her that includes more contact? Best Wishes, Pro Laf. P.S. How did that work out with her dragging your boss into the situation? My enabling fil, in an effort to force my bil to renew contact, threatened to call his boss and tell him what an awful person he was. Guest guest
Thanks for the reinforcement, the boss thing, she wrote a letter which he gave me so I have it in my collection of nada evil that was telling me that I could come and get some of my dad's stuff and my aunt could too she have some of his statues and how she was loosing the house and was getting rid of the animals, all to pull heart strings I'm sure. I ignored it. The only thing I want from her is for her to leave me the freak alone, unfortunatly I don't think she get is I think if she did approach me I will be reminding her to stay away and don't give me any excuse to get a restraiing order against her. I figured walking away would send a clear message may not in her case with how far off the rocker she is. prof laf Subject: Re: Question To: WTOAdultChildren1 Date: Wednesday, July 9, 2008, 10:12 AM Personally, I think it is best not to engage a stalker, you did reinforce the boundary by walking off without comment. Guest guest
Believe you me if she gives me enough of an excuse, I've been writing down all instances of contact as that I might have an easier time getting one, I think she's smart enough to avoid getting one unless she gets really wacked out which she might eventually. I want nothing to do with her. I've had a nice peaceful life since I left that stormy relatonship and I have no desire to go back into it ever. I also don't want her tearing my family apart again she does that, she'd better hope I would move out of town because I won't tolerate that. She did that when I was a kid and everyone let her get away with it, yes even the therapists allowed her to chase off the extended family.  What's amazing is the therapists seem to be hunky dory with her cutting off her whole family and chasing away my dad's family yet when I went it was you have to have a relationship with your nada. Hence why this bored and SWOE and the other books ahve been a help.  These therapists allow her to chase off her family, who only have maybe one sister I would avoid but I can't chase off one single relative who has caused so many problems and is verbally and emotionally abusive. Until the hospice admitted it when my dad was sick, that was the first time someone ever noticed the bad family dynamics and admitted that he was badly abused by her and that I had some trauma as well. I would love to get into these therapists minds and see where they concoct their ideas. Have these guys ever have imaginary relationship with anyone, meaning she thinks she has one with me and doesn't understand it's non-existant? Guest guest
I don't know of any , but I believe Generation Rescue has a scholarship fund that makes grants for biomed expenses.. Guest guest
IMHO – you should look into Dr. Goldberg and NIDS – it’s a very interesting perspective as well as he has been working on this for 25 years. I’ve been reading and studying his stuff for the past year and finally got to see him as well as speak to him. I was very intrigued as well as impressed. You can also go to nids.net to find out all of the docs who are working with him. Hope the Cyto-Q worked for you (yes, I was the one who sent it to you!) I would be very interested in learning the answer to this.
