Guest guest
-Geez it sounds so good but I am concerned about the sugar. One could use sugar free KOOL AID but then you are not getting away from the Aspertame. *Just found a package in my cupboard(lord knows how long its been there cuz my kids haven't drank KOOL AID in years!) ingredients in order are: citric acid, natural and artif.flavors, sugar, t.phosphate, salt & coloring..It's pretty sweet!! --------------------------------------------------------------------- In South-Beach-Diet-Getting-It-Right , " Deanne " <bartsgranmama@y...> wrote: > ---BUT what about all the SUGAR in the package of KOOL AID??? > > In South-Beach-Diet-Getting-It-Right , RenoGin@a... > wrote: > > This is one that a friend gave me-- > > Gin > > > > Non-aspartame jello > > > > > > > > > > Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method > > -------- ------------ -------------------------------- > > 2 envel gelatin powder > > 2 cups water > > 1 cup ice > > 1 package kool aide > > 3 pac splenda > > 2 tablespoons sour cream > > > > I use > > 2 envelopes Knox, > > dissolve in 2 cups boiling water. Guest guest
---Yes I realize this but I like most things, SUGAR seems to be in EVERYTHING! While the package I am looking at doesnot tell us how much sugar is in it. it does say its in there..This would be a no no as a beverage for us diabetics even though it may be a very small quantity.. Just wanted to point that out to those who need to know...
