I do the sugar-free Metamucil before my evening meal because that is

the time I want to eat, eat, eat. I think it helps.

<Okay one more than... does anyone do the Metamucil

<thing before each meal? I am willing to try it if it

<keeps me feeling full.

Also, once I lose weight, I'll just naturally have more energy (not

dragging around 20 extra pounds), rather than being heavy with

energy.

Dr. A specifically says of Phase One " It is designed to allow ample

portions of protein, good fats, and the lowest glycemic index carbs

needed for satisfaction and blood sugar control. " He continues, " So

you should never feel hungry, and if you do, it's possible that

you're being too stingy with your portions. "

My friend that started with me complained of hunger, and I

said, " Eat! "

I take a spoonful of the sugar-free kind in a glass of water about 15

minutes before dinner. Seems to fill me up. (And I've been pretty

darn regular lately!) :)

I think that people only have issues with choking when they don't

consume the amount of water that is recommended.
