Guest guest
Hi Mark. I've had similar problems to what you describe although with me it occurred just after I've eaten my breakfast. My doctor put me on Omeprazole and this has really helped. in fact I know so as I ran out a week or so ago and had a bout of extreme sickness where I had to lie down. I don't think I was under any more stress than usual either. My GP feels that the valve between my stomach and oesophagus is floppy which is causing the contents of my stomach to regurgitate back up. I also get severe stomach aches as well. Do you? One beneficial effect of the Omeprazole incidentally is that I don't get diarrhea any more. Now that was more information than you really wanted wasn't it! ;o) All the best, Jen > > >
Guest guest
>I had a surgery Called a Fundoplication......it was a rough ride recouperating and relying on crutches but it has definately worth it but.....now I am unable to vomit. Veena> I'll shock you Veena and say that I've never had surgery and would be too nervous to start now unless I had a life threatening condition. We have the most terrible local hospital- in fact when my Dad was in there recovering from a stroke earlier this year they found the super bug in the toilet across the corridor from his room. He and all his roomates were tested to see if they were infected. You can come out with a worse condition than that you were admitted with! Guest guest
I would have never even thought about using regular dressing, but now that you said you use ranch I have been checking labels on some of my dressing. I love a good salad but I HAVE to have a good dressing to go with it. Thanks to everyone for your help. I am just used to counting calories that this diet is going to take some getting used to . Sheri > I know, I LOVE Light Done Right Thousand Island, but it has 5 grams > of sugar ((. So now I usually have regular ranch, creamy italian, > homemade italian, or balsmic vinigar/olive oil/salt/pepper all wisked > together, yum! Guest guest
Thanks. I have read the book, but there is so much information that it is hard to keep up. This group is great. Sheri PS. My husband will be so happy to come home to tacos. > I would think as long as there is no sugar it is OK. > Donna in PA > > Re: question > > >
Guest guest
As long as the meat is lean it's ok, just no bread obviously. > > Why not turn it into a taco salad.
