they need to do their best to lose the weight.

Last time I was at WW was 20 years ago but I have co workers who

use the present system of points. I would be so unfocused counting

points but that's just me. I am very happy with SB. It's done for me

in one short month what other diets have never seem to accomplish

for me personally.

I guess you could say I was more successful on WW than SBD because I lost

more than I have so far. But at Christmas 2002, I just snapped and

COULD.NOT.COUNT.POINTS.ANYMORE. I gained back 25 pounds of the 33 I had

lost. I have now re-lost 20 of that.

I suspect those who can successfuly combine WW and SBD will be big winners -

portion control of healthy foods - hard to beat! (I just can't do it.

) )

My only problem with Weight Watchers is that when I called them, asking them about the sugar content in their meals, as I am a diabetic, I was told that it was not their concern. If I had special dietary needs, I would need to seek a group that dealt with my particular diet problems. I thought that said volumes about their concern for real weight loss, and patient care. I stopped looking at them as a possibility at that point and have never looked back...Kel

---Well IMHO, that was really quite rude of them! Considering WW

endorses the use of Splenda, Sugar Twin, Equal and the like. Why

would they not just tell you that? They don't use sugar...I mean how

silly would that be? Sort of impedes the purpose of a weight loss

group don't ya think?? If you cut out the bad fats and bad carbs and

still eat sugar how would one lose any weight?? I'd have to guess

that particular employee is a bit of a moron!! lol

--It was nothing compared to when it first came out! I recall being

about 16 and thinking I needed to lose weight at that time

(hah,little did I know 30 years later what they really meant)I

joined WW. At that time it was like $3.00 a week to weigh in and

listen to the lectures. $8.00 to join. Talk about limited foods?

Whoa it was really restricted. That was back in the days when

the " diet " drink available was TAB and FRESCA and I soon got sick of

that! Lost 10 lbs and my mother nearly had a fit..course it didn't

take long to put that back on(and more! LOL)
