Reminder:

The South Beach Diet is not low-carb. Nor is it low-fat. The South Beach Diet

teaches you to rely on the right carbs and the right fats-the good ones-and

enables you to live quite happily without the bad carbs and bad fats.

Beach Diet " by Arthur Agatston, MD. ISBN 1-57954-814-8

And I, she said cringing, have 120 pounds to lose. I have lost 50 already, but would love to get down to my fighting weight, LOL, only problem is I would have about a mile of excess skin, not a great site. Short of surgery to remove the skin, any suggestions for this soon to be "60" lady? I guess it would be long sleeve shirts, turtlenecks and long pants at all times...Kel

Take Flax seed oil caps and cod liver oil....pamper your skin...massage (do it yourself) and moisturize. That's the best any of us can do, short of surgery.

I’m in my 60’s. I have found

weight training helps. But short of surgery I think you are in for lots of

saggy skin. If you can afford it, I’d sure get the skin tucks – it

could be a real reward for losing all the weight!
