Thanks, Dawn... We're all here to help each other... I couldn't make it without all you guys either!!!!

Stuff isn't quite sorted... but I let it be known that I'm no longer a door mat..... Appointments are now required... I'm no longer on call.... appointment cancelations have to be the day before.... I know... it's harsh... and I don't like being that way... but it's only for those that have been rude to me this last month. I got all ready to go on a tutor session on Tuesday... did the laundry, showered, put on my 'going out clothes'... collected all my stuff to be ready to head out the door when they came to pick me up.... and instead I get a call saying that she'd rather do it another day....

We decided on today.... but she called last night and cancelled again.... At least she called last night... and not about the time she was supposed to pick me up today....

That's why I get to catch up on emails.... I'm not 'on hold' for anyone today..... I have a schedule again!!!!

.....see I'm a pretty good multi-tasker...but I can't stand being in the middle of a project and having someone say "drop it and come with me" It's too hard to pick up again, depending on the project... So these days when I'm 'on hold' I end up sitting and waiting... not knowing when/if they'll come through... not daring to start on my stuff for fear I'll get interrupted... which happened yesterday... the other fella called over three hours early... and demanded me to stop what I was doing cause he was too lazy to read the instructions that I sent him... he wanted me to talk him through it.

The problem was that I was in the middle of a five gallon pot of stew... meat was browned.. vegies were cut.... just adding water to the meat for the gravy... and I'm supposed to stop cause he decided to call early???? I don't think so.... I finished up the stew to the point where it could simmer... then I called him back... and you know what???? he'd just sat there that whole time and still hadn't bothered to read the instructions that I'd written up for him!!!! arrrggghhhh

But my stew came out delicious... I'll start filling muffin tins this morning and getting it frozen up for mini meals..... I'm guessing about 60 meals or so.....

On today's agenda is Salisbury steaks..... I'm freezing most of those too.....
