Guest guest
I just bought a program for my computer that you can make your cassettes into CD's but I haven't used it yet and my friend who helps me with my computer came over and I let her borrow it. Your suppose to be able to take out any crackling noise and you can also record just the music with no words for Karaoke (spell). If you would like the name of this program she is bringing it back Monday so just let me know and I'll get you the name. Guest guest
Then don't be a nurse. Do not let anyone tell you to be something you don't want to be. A bit of friendly advice look into combining your biology degree with something else, technology, chemistry, invitro, it will help you get ahead a lot quicker than a straight biology degree. If you can learn how to operate a electron microscope and a spectrum analyzer these skills will definitely put you out in front. Also look into the FAFSA program which is a government backed education loan system. The form is on-line and doesn't take that much to fill out. The program is based on rock bottom interest rate loans and some of them have no interest rates at all. You have 10-30 years to pay them back. I highly reccommend them as I got one for my MBA. I have only the highest respect for those who work and put themselves through school. It is so hard to do but well worth it in the end. Check it out but hurry because the dead lines are in September. If you need some help let me know I'll do my best to guide you on the form. As for taking too long, pfthffffft (a rude noise). It will take as long as it takes, the goal is to get the best grades you can with out crashing mentally or emotionally. Don't sweat the time line just finish the degree. Your mom is correct in one thing, you need a college education in today's work place. It is a lot of work but it will give you a foundation to build upon and it is all yours. No one can take it away. Talk directly to your dad about contributing to your education. He might not give you anything but at least it is worth a try.. Don't go through your mom. Be Strong (unknown) Thanks for all the helpful responses from my previous post. I actually don't want to be a nurse. My mom has the ideas of what I should be doing as far as a career goes. She always said that I should be a piano teacher or a nurse so I can take care of her and my dad when they get older. I tried the the whole piano teacher thing and hated it! It turned out that I had most the classes done for a RN degree so that's why I applied to get into a program which was a lpn to rn bridge. I really want to finish my degree in biology and that is what I think I'm going to do. Biology is my original major. It frustrates me how obsessed she is with my lack of degree but she refuses to help me with my college education. It's hard to finish in 4 years when you're trying to support yourself and pay for school much less find the time for school. I'm jealous of my friends that have parents that help them with finances while they're in school. My dad makes plenty of money but my nada spends it in large amounts frequently.
