I got a little attached to it when I was making it ....I almost changed my mind and thought about "accidentally" forgetting to take it to fun day haha! I agree with you about Tonya and Elaine! WOW!! Tonya what an amazing voice you have! You and your mom sounded so great together! What a treat! We always look so forward to hearing Elaine sing and to have your beautiful voice too - that made it even more special! I'm soooo glad you came! .....and please....tell that wonderful son of yours I send my thanks (and a big hug) for all his help! He's a great kid!! I have never been to a more "fun" funday in my whole 12 years in Tops. Melody and her chapter sure did "outdo" themselves. As soon as we hit the door we were bombarded by gift bags and necklaces and the most flowers and peace signs I have ever seen in my life. Every square inch of the room was covered. You couldn't help but get a big smile on your face. It was unbelievable. We had all kinds of skits and songs, we even had a visit and song from the Beatles. They were awesome. It was good to see our coordinator Kay Brown again and she brought 2 of her area captains with her Grace and our loops own JACKIE MARTELL! Was so great getting hugs from all my friends. Sure did pick up my spirits. Elaine and a surprise guest, yep you guessed it, it was her daughter and our very own member TONYA sang us a song. The only thing better than Elaine singing is when she sings with her daughter. I am sure they have had some fantastic sing a longs in their house. The meal was great, turkey on rolls, all the trimmings, salad with all the trimmings, fruit and a great fruit dessert served in the cutest champagne glasses which were decorated in out theme with our theme on the side. The raffle baskets were UNBELIEVABLE!! There were 4 from my chapter that went and all 4 of us won something. ME, I won the lady bug bar-b-cue and didn't even notice it came with a very large plastic container FULL of stuff. I couldn't believe it and was wondering how my car was gonna fit it all in but we did manage to get it all in. I was also voted as our chapters "Flower Girl" taking the place of chapter angel. To say a Thank You to Melody and her chapter doesn't seem good enough but THANK YOU, you have made my day. We espcially like to sing Judd's songs...sorry it wasn't in theme but we had fun doing it!!! We only got to practice a couple of times at 1:30 am a few hours before Fun Day! Cody had so much fun he wants to join TOPS! I told him he wouldn't be able to attend meetings but he said he could join online like mom!!! haha!
