Guest guest
I had been taking 1 1/2 grain at midnight and 1 grain at night for a few months. I have been having a lot of trouble getting going (do a lot of on and off the couch in the morning until about 10 am) in the morning so decided to try taking 2 grains at bedtime. That sure did make a difference! I had resisted going higher as I thought, surely I don't need 3 grains. It has been 3 days at this dose so I can't say a whole lot yet, but will update in a couple of weeks. I had noticed when I first started taking armour that it took about 6 hours for the 1 grain dose I started with and subseqently higher doses to kick in. That is why I take so much at midnight. I also take 3 mg of methylprednisolone at midnight (2mg wake, 1 mg 4 pm). No, 3 mg of pred does not keep me awake. If any of you have trouble getting going in the morning try taking bedtime doses. Guest guest
To you swallow your dose or take it sublingually? I wonder if your body is doing a lot of healing and needs the T3 to get its work done during sleep (we heal and mend 10 times faster during sleep then when awake) The other thought that popped into my head is adrenal... adrenals that aren't releasing when you wake can leave you frumpy in the morning... and then when they release later you have to energy to get up off the couch.... Interesting.... Topper () On Wed, 10 Nov 2004 02:04:47 -0000 "" writes: I had been taking 1 1/2 grain at midnight and 1 grain at night for a few months.
