Hi,

Instead of taking Vioxx take Celebrex instead.

I was started on Vioxx to releave the swelling of the Carpel tunnel

area and all it did was make me nousious(sp?) to the stomach. They

switched me over to Celebrex, although it didn't help with the

swelling(had to have bi-lateral carpal tunnel release surgery) it

does help with the lower back swelling and with arthitis type

symptoms of the knees.

Cost comparison...sorry I can't help you there. I pay cash for my

Celebrex and there isn't a generic available yet...grumble...

It takes about a week to build up in the system so it is not an over

night relief drug, however it does work!!! And I sure can tell when

I forget to take it.
