Guest guest
Thanks for the web address. It doesn't say that it is organic and it is expeller pressed (mechanical?) instead of cold-pressed. Maybe that is why it is so much cheaper than Tropical Traditions? -Becky >From: " Lana Gibbons " <lana.m.gibbons@...> > >Not Lynn, but here;s the link. > >http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/bulkoil/a-c.php (At the way bottom: >Coconut >Oil unrefined (Certified Organic)) > >It looks as though they may actually be sold out. (I remember reading, in one of Bee's articles that the coconut oil should be snow white and should smell like coconut...) > 2) Can coconut oil be contaminated and dangerous to consume?? > 3) Let's say, its not the best quality, do I still get all the benefits of the coconut oil??? > +++Hi , A tropical smell sounds okay to me. First, ensure you bought their " unrefined " and not their " refined " CO. MRH is a very reputable company so I would trust them. You could ask customer service what " certified Fair Trade " means. It's hard to wreck CO anyway, unless it is refined. All the best, Bee
