I bought my prenatal vit. from K-mart for under $5. I have been taking them for

months which is a good thing because, I finally get in to actually see the dr

this week and I will be 9-10 weeks then. I have had tests done though just not

" seen " her.

Re: Dorene

Sounds like a lovely time!

I just found out this morning that one of my good

friends here is pregnant...so of course the first

thing out of my mouth was " when can i babysit " lol.

I'm concered though...she's nearly 4 months along

(showing a little already) and hasn't been to the

doctor yet. She's waiting for her Title XIX to kick

in. I'm going to go get her some prenatal vitamins

tonight and I told her they'll backdate her Title XIX

so I sure hope she gets in there soon.

Dorene,

I just pray Marc will end up there too. But then with

my luck the judge will order me to take my 8 year old

to meet her bio dad and spend time with him at the

pen.

We are to pray for our enemies even more than our

friends right?

I pray all the time that Marc's alcoholism be lifted

from him and that his eyes be opened to the damage it

would do to to have him in her life or have any

contact with him. She is such a well-adjusted child,

and as perfect of a child as I've ever seen, I am so

blessed to have her. Marc made a mistake by not

seeing her for 8 1/2 years, he can never make it up to

her even if he were to have his eyes opened.

I just try so hard not to be vindictive or wanting

revenge, but it's HARD! Anyone who harasses my

elderly parents deserves whatever they get. So far, I

am waiting for God to get him for what he's done to so

many people.

Yes, we should it's just sometimes so hard to do. My ex is an acholic as well,

however now in recovery. Has been sober for 8 years and is doing well. However

my son still remembers the lack of a dad he had and the hurtful things he said

or did. Some things are never forgotten but hopefully can be forgiven. Sorry to

hear about your parents. The best thing to do is for them to file charges as

well have a restraining order put on him. That protects them as well as shows

what he is doing. My prayers go out to your family.

Awww....you are so sweet. I can't wait to meet

Terrie, she's a riot! There aren't too many close

around here. I think Misty was the closest but she

left the group. :-(

Dorene,

Well, since I'm diabetic I should be eating right all

the time, but I'm trying to cut down on my caffeine,

drink more water, etc....so if I have a pop, there's

50 cents for TR....like that. If I sneak a bite of

cake, 50 cents! Not only will it make my TR fund

grow, maybe it will make me shrink a bit! lol.

Thanks for the prayers hon. The physicians assistant

put me on Paxil. I thought that was for depression

but she said it's also for anxiety. Hoping it will

help me get some sleep and get an appetite

again.... does not like it when I won't/can't

eat.

I hate taking meds, it means the sperm donor is

succeeding and I'm failing but I will make it through

this. I've been through worse.

Dorene,

That's how I feel with the abuse I've been through.

We had a lady call here today...she just got a

restraining order against her husband and now he's

been calling shutting off all her utilities, etc.

I am watching her account every day to make sure if he

asks for a disconnect that I just switch it to her

name. I also helped another girl get away from my

control-freak ex. We are good friends to this day.

Feels good when you can help doesn't it?

Dorene,

I'm sorry you've had to go through this. I went

through a very deep depression after my ex beat me up

so badly....it got bad about 6 months after it

happened and lasted about 6 months. It was terrible.

I was on meds for a few months and then snapped out of

it. No one can understand what it's like till they've

experienced it themselves.

I was just put on Paxil to help with my anxiety over

this thing with DD8's bio dad. Just a few days into

it and I feel a ton better already. It even helped me

get a good nights sleep the very first night I took

it.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you

hon!

Luv ya,

Dorene,

I'd try to make arrangements with the school(s)

instead of the collection agency. I'll bet they'll

work with you better. Don't let them get pushy, most

of those collectors make minimum wage and are jerks.

lol. Except any of them who are in this group of

course.

I hate taking pills too but with the diabetes I'm

getting semi-used to it.

Dorene,

I'd try to make arrangements with the school(s)

instead of the collection agency. I'll bet they'll

work with you better. Don't let them get pushy, most

of those collectors make minimum wage and are jerks.

lol. Except any of them who are in this group of

course.

I hate taking pills too but with the diabetes I'm

getting semi-used to it.

that is the pits, you think the city or town would have the courtesey to let

people know in advance if they plan on working on the water so everyone would be

prepared. Hope you weren't in the middle of a bath!
