Dorene,

I know exactly what you mean about God providing.

After my divorce I was staying with friends and their

16 year old foster son and I were the only two home.

He wanted me to come listen to the engine of his car

that he'd been working so hard on. He put the hood

up, we were standing in front of the car. He walked

around, got in and went to start it....right at that

second I stepped away from the front of the car, off

to the side. The car had no neutral safety switch

(didn't even know there was such a thing until then)

and the car ran down the back wall of the garage.

My mom and dad were on their way to Rochester, MN to

the Mayo Clinic for surgery on my mom's kidneys.

She's diabetic and in Albert Lea, MN my Mom lost

consciousness. Now, not to dis my parents or

anything, but they are small town people and haven't

been out of town much, lol. I totally believe that

God's angel drove my dad's van to the hospital. I

KNOW that with his unconcious wife in the van that

there was no way he had the ability to find that

hospital.

I also had a near miss with a train, the crossing

lights never lit up...I had all three of my kids in

the vehicle with me...if I had been driving a few mph

slower or if the train was going a little faster I

wouldn't be here writing this.

Isn't it wonderful to know that He is always in

control?

Dorene,

The only thing I know right this very minute is that

I'm sitting here at my desk at work, getting more

afraid for the safety of my little every minute.

The lawyer wants to let the harassment continue so if

we ever get to court we can show the judge all he's

doing....my DH thinks I should just " relax " whatever.

My parents think that hiding the truth of what he's

doing is the answer...so I don't get more upset. I've

never believed in hiding one's head in the sand....

As for your question, sometimes I do.

Thanks for writing Dorene.

I know He will never put more upon us than we can

handle but I feel like I'm about to the breaking point

in this situtation with my DD8.

I couldn't sleep at all last night, I prayed over and

over for Him to just take the burden so I could sleep

for a few hours...nothing. And it's so hard to be at

work today....I keep getting to the point of tears and

have to hold it back...feels like I'm going to burst.

Dorene,

I know He will never put more upon us than we can

handle but I feel like I'm about to the breaking point

in this situtation with my DD8.

I couldn't sleep at all last night, I prayed over and

over for Him to just take the burden so I could sleep

for a few hours...nothing. And it's so hard to be at

work today....I keep getting to the point of tears and

have to hold it back...feels like I'm going to burst.

Dorene,

Usually when I pray for peace about something, or calm

when I'm upset, it comes. Last night it didn't.

Maybe I need to find someone new to help!

pants so big I'm sure that were that to happen now no

one would look twice. I am an occasional substitue

teacher here in winthrop and I have seen this happen

to kids at the middle school, and they don't even

care!! Luv,

Dorene,

I had a customer come in just yesterday who knows both

and his dad. He asked me if 's dad had

retired. I had to tell him I didn't know because we

haven't seen or heard from him in over a year. Oh

well...it's their loss.

It's sad but true that sometimes we are given no

choice if we are truly looking at our best interests

and needs.
