What part of the world are you in? I'm in Minnesota... Living in a household with a person that is cold in anything below 80 and he rules the house so it's to his comfort, to blazes with anyone else.

Same with me. If the temp gets above 70 I think it's too hot. I don't get cold until the temp is about 20. Course part of it might be environment. Louise

I carry my fan from room to room with me. Turn of the heat registers in the two rooms that I use (bedroom and office) and have the windows open in those rooms most of the time. If I'm in an area without my fan, like in the kitchen cooking or baking... you'll see me doing my work with one hand and fanning myself with whatever I grabbed with the other... There have been times, last year, when the heat got me so bad that I went out in the back yard and turned on the garden hose and soaked myself... then I came back in the house, after I stopped dripping, and sat down at the computer again!!!

hehehehehe

Well thanks! <G> SOMEONE doesn't think I am crazy! :) Good to know I am not alone! I am fortunate to live in a moderate climate, and I have about six fans all or part of which are going constantly, year round. :) I have a little fan on my desk at work. I guess we are all different. :) Sue

I got up this morning. The house was about 75 or 76.. I just glanced at the thermostat on the way to the bathroom... I was warm and went into the office and opened the windows... it was 52 outside... I felt 'not bad' but too lazy to go get the fan. The folks got up TWO HOURS LATER (they kept me up until 1 am - then they slept in!!! ARRRGGGGGGGHHHHH) and the first thing dad did was turn on the furnace, which is set at 80.....

Took about a minute to scoot to the bedroom and grab my fan... it's one window, over the heat register, on exhaust... pulling the cool air in from the other window - wafting right across me. Not exactly a breeze... but keeping me from getting hot.

arrrrghhhh

Our high today is to be 71... that means that the windows in the house will be kept closed and the furnace kept on. *sniff, sniff*

I misspoke - our high yesterday was a balmy 53. Low was probably around 40. Mt got snow. Louise
