Guest guest
Exactly! I would sit in the floor and cry for an hour. My husband at my side asking me what was wrong and everytime the answer was " nothing " . He thought I was unhappy with him and that made him unhappy. It was so out of the norm I just knew I had gone nuts. It's amazing what all the thyroid affects! You'll be fine soon Just takes adjusting to the meds and over the years you'll know when it's time to change the dosage. I was 19 or 20 when this all happened so I had never even heard of a thyroid before. I think I learned more reading these posts over the last few days then ever before I would like to learn more about vitamins and supplements for thyroid problems. I have seen natural thyroid enhancers, but since I don't have one I don't think they would work for me. I use to drink a lot of soy because I am lactose intolerant. It was a year before I realized I was not suppose to drink it. Just be sure to read up on everything now so you are not backtracking and learning the hard way like me. Deanna > Hi Deanna > > Thanks! Guest guest
Oh wow, De! Sounds SO familiar! I am single so no husband to drive crazy. But I have a really close friend, and I am amazed that she is STILL my friend! I would go to church and just be sitting there and suddenly have to get up and leave... total panic... over NOTHING!! End up crying hysterically for hours! Yikes! Before the surgery my bloodwork came back " normal " and am still awaiting results post-surgery. Also I am learning... thanks to you and others here, and research... what types of questions to ask my doctor, etc. I was wondering about lactose... some sites I have read say with hypo to avoid it, others say to be sure to get it... AND I DO know not to believe everything I read on the Internet. But it's good to know the questions I need to ask! Sue > > Hi Deanna > > > > Thanks! This is SO encouraging!
