Guest guest
Melody, I don't know when you wanted us to respond to your questions, but here's one of my " fun-related " long-term goals to get us started. It means a lot to me although to many people that don't know what it is like to be overweight won't think it is much. My overweight sisters and brother here will know though. Thank each of you for your encouragement. My most important goals are health related, of course, but this one is strictly an aesthetic and fun goal. My goal is to eventually be able to shop in the " regular-sized " (misses) dress department instead of the plus size. Wow! That would be such a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pure fun! Who is with me? Kathleen > 4th: Set your long term goal (whatever it may be) - then set short > term goals...those little footsteps that you will take over the year > to get there. Guest guest
I'm with you Kathleen! It would be so fun to be able to NOT go into the plus-size section of the store anymore!! No matter where we live, no matter who we are, we're all bound by borders....borders that define our lives....some real, some imagined. Many of us are content to live within these borders. Others are forced to. But some of us need to break out, burst through, even if what lies on the other side is both frightening and unknown.
