Wonderful thoughts Doris....Doris wrote:

I am very much a Catholic and believe with all of my heart thatprayers do help when we have problems. However, I would not ever tryto tell anyone here who is not Catholic that they should be a convertor even to believe in prayer if they don't wish to do so. I do think,as someone said that they do appreciate prayers and good thoughts forthemself even if they don't believe in saying them. I have found thatprayer has been a life saver for me and for some others from thisgroup. I think we should continue to offer good thoughts and prayersfor others if that is our belief and I believe we should post thoseplans for thoughts and prayers if we wish to do so. Sometimes we haveposts asking for prayer and I think that is fine too. I do not thinkthat any one of us should try to convert anyone here nor should wepress an

issue about prayer here. I have the same thoughts aboutpolitics. I am an avid _____ but would not post my politicalthoughts here. If you are on my mailing list, however, you mightreceive them via private e-mail. True, this is a breast cancer support group and that is our mainreason for being here; however, I think we should all be able to postfreely (except for selling) anything except controversial things. When there is controversy, there can not be peace and without peace weare stressed and stress does not help us to overcome this darned olddragon of breast cancer.Just my thoughts. Doris

Please go here for a complete debunking of this myth that Mr. Mathes

is so keen to perpetuate. It is in my opinion a myth that serves none

of us very well.
