Guest guest
Three weeks ago due to my symptoms, which I still have I went to the Dr. the lab work came back showing I was hyper, I was referred to an Endo he took blood got results back all show normal. How could that be? 3 weeks ago it showed hyperthyroidism, now normal? I haven't been on any meds, but I still have symptoms. What do I do now. Do I retest or just ignore, it and move on with my life? Guest guest
Olivia! Nope, don't ignore it!!!! First, call up your doc and request copies of both sets of labs.. then post them here, including the lab's ranges... We'll see what tests they ran and what they based their conclusions on. If you have Hashi's (Hashimoto's thryoiditis) it is possible to swing back and forth between hyper and hypo depending on the levels of thyroid antibodies in your system. I dont' remember if I've asked you this or not... If I have could your refresh my memory... what is your resting (sitting quietly for 15 or 20 minutes) heart rate and breathing rate? That will give us a hint on what your body is up to..... .... no.. it's not really that simple.. but it's amazing what your body can tell you if you listen to it.. and this is a simple way of listening. Guest guest
See if your doctor will test for antibodies. This really showed that I had an autoimmune problem and when my TSH levels started fluctuated I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroditis. I recommend you keep going to the doctor to keep an eye on your TSH level. darringirl > Olivia!
