Guest guest
When you drink the orange juice, you are getting juice with very little fiber content. When you eat a segment or two (or three, who can stop at one) you are getting a fairly high fiber snack. Also the white filiments on the segments is pectin which is providing additional fiber. The combination of fiber and pectin slows the BG response. ========= I may not have gotten all the facts, but at approximately 1/13/02 9:34 PM I believe chanlier@... is rumored to have said: >I find orange juice does exactly the same to me. Can't touch it and I love >it >but I can eat a few orange segments can anyone explain this to me. Thanks.
