Mumbai Vacancy: Doctors for HIV; International NGO MSF

Medecins Sans Frontieres is an international NGO and has started up a

Comprehensive Care Program for people living with HIV/AIDS in Khar, Mumbai. We

are looking for a

(1) Female Medical Doctor and a (1) Male Medical doctor with at least two years

clinical experience (experience in HIV/AIDS is a plus) to support the

medical/clinical activities of the project.

JOB DESCRIPTION

General Objective:

Provide appropriate quality care to PLHA through consultations to OI, process of

inclusion to HAART, follow up, education and evaluation.

Participate to the set up of the MSF HIV Clinic through to finalize protocol,

tools, quality of drug.

Represent MSF image among assisted population and partners.

Miscellaneous tasks

When asked to help in the organisation of the meetings & other gatherings.

Perform any other job related tasks

The position will require:

Fluent spoken and written English and Hindi( other local languages are

advantage), a good sense of self initiative, ability to work in a team, capacity

of planning and organisation, capacity to represent the organization in front of

other institutions, empathy and being comfortable working with PLHAs,

comfortable working with vulnerable groups such as CSW,MSM & Transgender,

flexibility in working hours, ability to preserve patients confidentiality. This

is a full time position.
