Ref: The news of A 12-year old boy had been tied to his bedpost at the Meerut

Medical College after being tested HIV positive.

This is absolutely inhuman to tie a boy to a bed and that too in a medical

college. It is a barbaric Act !

The reply given by the MC authorities, that they do not have 'facilities ' to

treat HIV does not warrant them to tie people to beds. This is against the

HIPOCRATIC OATH taken by the medical fraternity. Does it mean that all HIV /AIDS

patients of Meerut should be send to AIIMS.

This is happening in many States where all PLWHA's are sent away 'conveniently'

to certain CENTRES thus overburdening their system.

Come on doctors, please do not be so cruel they are human beings
