I just used Splenda for the first time, making a crustless Pumpkin

Pie. It was really good. Says you use it in place of sugar and it's

a 1 for 1 exchange. So if you would use 1/4 cup sugar, you would

use 1/4 cup Splenda in the same recipe. BUT, compared to

sugar, it's much more expensive. Wonder why?
