Guest guest Posted February 17, 2002 Report Share Posted February 17, 2002 Hi Everyone: New to the group. Just diagnosed with a large (?) fibroid...11cm on February 13th. Didn't know to ask which type, but now that I have read up a little I will ask at my next appt. on the 27th. Given three choices.....wait and redo the tests in 6 months, have a UAE, or have a hysterectomy!!!!!! Was told to read the pamphlets and do some research. Symptoms are heavy bleeding and clots the second and third days, some back pain (not always), bladder pressure (all the time) and bad leg circulation (which I was attributing to Restless Leg Syndrome, but now think the fibroid might be the culprit!).
