Guest guest
Hello, I'm new here,I joined a week ago.I feel like this is a nice and caring group. I will begin this drug, tamoxifen, tomorrow for the next 5 years I have reservations about taking it,but my doctor said you have to weigh the benefits along with the risks. My question is has anyone had to stop taking this drug because of bad side effects? My doctor said I may not be able to handle the drug, but I need to give it a chance. I would just like to hear from anyone how they feel about this drug, how good it's working for them, etc. Thank- You for letting me be a part of group. God Bless You All, Peggy
Guest guest
Hi Peggy, I have been on Tamoxifen for almost four years now and have had absolutely no side effects, not even hot flashes (I am post-menopausal) and am scheduled for Femara after my fifth year on Tamoxifen. You might do very well on it. Don't worry about side effects, just give it a try first. Every case is different. Good luck! Leila -- From: moochie@... I think it was Jeana that had to quit. I am sure if she sees the post she will reply. You are in my prayers.
