The activities of APAN is really laudable. But it dosen't mean that there is no

room for improvisation and creative energy.

Some of my concerns are:

Is there a gap in linking the PLHA networks with general community?

Any thought in the way of wider community mobilisation to address the isses of

PLHAs?

How about linking the PLHA networks with the existing CBOs/Neighbourhoods/SHGs

that ignite community participation and ownership and reduce or negate the

situations precipitated by stigma and discrimination?

A humble suggetion: Systems could be developed to find out and train community

volunteers or influential people for being the best community advocates for

addressing the burning causes of persons with HIV.

Though it is a tough way to tread, it bears unharved results.
