Guest guest
Deanna, Your hints were sounding so reasonable until I read " Jump a few FEET to the right and then left, landing with bent knees " . FEET " ???????? I'd be doing good to jump UP, much less sideways for a few INCHES and landing with bent knees! Haha. [still muttering to myself] I just love that. " Jump a few feet to the right and then left, landing with bent knees. " Sorry, no offence Deanna, but that is toooooooooo much of a funny mental image. " Jump a few FEET to the right and then left, landing with bent knees " Mission , you don't think our Allied Supreme Commander will dare take this and make it into next week's challenge, do you? Oh, I hope she didn't read that! Ok, it's 1:15 in the morning. I'd better go back to bed. But I don't know how I can sleep with that mental image of me jumping a few feet in ANY direction. Commando Grandma/Kathleen > 4:00-5:00 - Ski hops: Stand with feet together, bend > knees and jump a few feet to the right and then left, landing with > bent knees. Guest guest
Maybe we better not try that one!! If you want to try, may be best to be holding onto something. I'm in no condition to jump "up", "down", or any other way. At my age, gravity is affecting me enough without jumping up and down to make it worse. Hugs, Deanna Re: Staying Fit During the Holidays Deanna,Your hints were sounding so reasonable until I read "Jump a few FEET to the right and then left, landing with bent knees". FEET"???????? Guest guest
> I've got something up my sleeve for next week (*evil laughter*) I can hardly wait. Not! It sure would be nice if it were like this week's challenge, but I'm smarter than to hope for that. My family came over tonight and brought 4 friends of theirs. We had a good time. Ate, of course. Simple stuff. Sandwiches, chips, dips, cookies. I ate too much, but didn't stuff myself. Then I played the piano while they sang Christmas Carols, then dh read the Christmas story from the Bible. It was a nice party. This has been a family tradition from when I was a little girl going to Grandma's house. Now I'm the Grandma and they're coming to my house.
