Does anyone else have trouble with muscle cramps?? The only time in

my life I ever dealt with these (until now) was when I was pregnant

with my kids. Lately, I've been having a lot of cramping in my hips,

calves and feet. I get plenty of water, take my vitamins, try to eat

right etc. Can't exercise for the past few months because the

hypothyroid is really kicking my behind - not only the cramps but

nausea and muscle weakness and total body aches. Just wondering if

it's just me or if other people have trouble with this.

Thanks for the info,

Kim

You're not alone, Kim...

I had them a lot worse when going through storm and for a few months after the RAI.... then they came back again, but not so bad.

I have found in the last year,plus... that stretching helps... just gentle quiet stretching, just to tolerance, not to pain... I suspect that it helps to increase blood flow and oxygenation.

I 'think' that when all the nutrition aspects are covered and it's not from over use per say.. that it's an oxygenation issue.

For me feet.. I wiggle them a lot. Off and on, all day long, whenever I think about it... wiggle the feet, the toes, rolling the ankles...

I do a lot of fidgeting, stretching, relaxation stuff with my hands, wrists and fingers cause of being on the keyboard so much all day, every day.

I wouldn't mind sharing ideas that we've had about exercising and range of motion stuff for those of us that spend most of our time indoors/sitting, for whatever the reason.

Mine varies. One day out of 10, I will get up out of bed and go all day

without it. Then suddenly it's ba---aackk! Same stuff you're talking

about. I am on an adequate dose of Armour. I'm just still really

wondering more and more about the Lupus testing.
