I would think that might be from a too high TSH stimulaitng the thyroid when

you have Hashi's. That is when I get that feelign. Are oyu taking iodine?

That does thta to me. If no iodine I woudl think more T3 woudl stop it.

Can you imagine what would happen to all of us if we did not have these groups

to compare our health findings. I have had Hashi's for over 20 yrs and just in

the time I have been in these groups I have improved my health more than 8

doctors could do for me. I remember an endo I was seeing, I told her I wanted

to try Naturethroid and she says she didn't know how to dose it. I had to wait

3 DAYS! for her to find out what to do with it and then she did not give me

enough. My TSH (useless) went to 3. something and I felt terrible. Come to find

out she only gave me 1/4 of what I should have had. She blamed it on the fact

that this drug was not as good as synthroid.....idiot. I left her shortly after

that.

Pray that these groups will be around for a VERY LONG TIME.

Val, thanks- my TSH was 5.5 when I started T3 treatment. I'm not sure if I have

Hashi's (doc didn't use that term). I'm glad to hear that increasing T3 dose may

help that fullness feeling! No, I'm not on iodine- I've been curious about it

though. Not too interested to try it now though, if it might cause more of that

feeling. So, clearing out RT3 recepters will eventually result in a lowered

TSH? Is that how it's ultimately supposed to work?

Thanks for all the other people's comments too- I indeed am on SR T3-- I feel

like it's improving my symptoms, so I'm hoping I have a better version than some

I've read about on this group... I'm going to stick with it longer and see if

raising my dose helps, but am reading lots about others' experiences with it and

those who've switched to cytomel...

I agree this group is So helpful!
