I was dx in 1998 with a 5.5 centimeter lump that was stage 3, I also had two grossly involved lymph nodes. I am a 5 yr survivor so It can be sone. You have joined the best support group, we will answer any questions you have no matter what they are, dont be afraid to ask. Most of us have been there dont that, some are currently in treatment, so someone can answer anything you may ask. I had surgery right away as I knew what I wanted to do and also had 2nd opinions from 3 different doctors. A week or two won't make that big of difference but I can sure understand you wanting it out. I did too. They are coming up with all different types and combinations of treatments. I had mine almost 14 yrs ago and I am doing fine. I was stage II, with one node involved and a 2.5cm tumor. I will keep you in my prayers.
